Configure personal notification settings in the app

You can configure your notification preferences by selecting how you receive updates—whether via in-app, mobile, or email—and the frequency with which you receive them, from daily updates to weekly summaries.

Considerations

  • Digital workplace notifications settings: Your workplace administrator may have preconfigured the notification settings for the digital workplace. Following the process below will override those settings for your personal notification settings.
  • Notification Digests section: Displays the current send times for digests for your digital workplace, which your workplace administrator configures.

Configure personal notification settings in the app

  1. In the app's Top Bar, tap Notifications.
  2. In the Notifications window, tap Notification Settings.
  3. (Optional) Tap Feed Notifications, and configure the following options. When done, tap Save.
    • Where to get notified: Toggle one of the following options to turn the notification channel on or off.
      • Email: Sends feed notifications via email.
      • In-App: Sends feed notifications via the Notification Center in the web browser and mobile app.
      • Mobile Push: Sends feed notifications via push notifications on devices with the mobile app.
    • Frequency: Tap one of the following options.
      • Instantly: Sends feed notifications instantly.
      • Daily: Sends feed notifications daily at the configured time. When selected, Email is the only available notification channel.
      • Weekly: Sends feed notifications weekly at the configured time and weekday. When selected, Email is the only available notification channel.
      • Monthly: Sends feed notifications monthly at the configured time and day of the month. When selected, Email is the only available notification channel.
  4. (Optional) Tap Direct Notifications, and configure the following options. When done, tap Save.
    • For @mentions and broadcasts: Toggle one of the following options to turn the notification channel on or off.
      • Email: Sends direct notifications via email.
      • In-App: Sends direct notifications via the Notification Center in the web browser and mobile app.
      • Mobile Push: Sends direct notifications via push notifications on devices with the mobile app. This setting will not override device settings.
