You can manually send a user activation invitation via email or SMS text message to allow the user to access their account and configure their password. This process can be performed individually or for any unactivated accounts.
Who can do this?
- Workplace administrators
Send a single user activation invitation
- On the Top Bar, select
Admin Settings.
- Under Settings, select
Users.
- Use the provided search box to locate a specific user in the digital workplace by first or last name, or scroll through the list to locate the user. You can only send a user activation invitation to users who do not have the Joined status in the User Status column on the Users page.
- Next to the user, select
Menu and then select Send invitation/Resend Invitation.
- (Optional) If multiple contact methods are available, select the preferred method.
- Select Send.
Send unactivated users a user activation invitation
- On the Top Bar, select
Admin Settings.
- Under Settings, select
Users.
- Select
Menu and then select Send pending invitations
- (Optional) Select Use cell number for invitation when both contact methods are provided to send an SMS text message to users in the United States and Canada instead of the default email.
- Select Send.
