A page template is a pre-configured page structure using widgets that can be applied to any page using the Page Builder. Workplace administrators and site administrators can select from pre-designed core page templates or user-created custom workplace templates from the digital workplace.

Use a page template
As a workplace administrator or site administrator, you can apply custom core or workplace templates to a page in the Page Builder. For workplace templates, see Create a page template. For descriptions of core templates, see the following table:

The Team Room is the place where employees can collaborate and streamline communications within departments or teams. Includes CTA button, trending content, members, and links widgets. |

The Management Hub is the place where people leaders can communicate privately while sharing knowledge and best practices. Includes members, news, CTA button, and links widgets. |
Applying a page template in the Page Builder will remove any widgets from the page. These changes can't be undone once the page is published, but they can be cleared by refreshing the page before publication.

Create a page template
As a site administrator, you can create and edit your own workplace templates and apply any other users' workplace templates. These workplace page templates will be available to other administrators to build their pages.

Delete a page template
As a site administrator, you can delete your own workplace templates.
