@mentions allow you to mention a specific person in content or a comment. When you @mention a person, the mentioned user's profile is linked in the content, and the user can receive an email, in-app, or push notification if those notification channels are turned on for the user.

Adding an @mention
You can @mention another user in the digital workplace by entering an @ symbol followed by at least two text characters. You can search by either their first or last name, and once you locate the user, you must select them from the dropdown list to create a valid @mention.
Receiving an @mention
When you are @mentioned, you will receive a notification in your preferred notification channel. You you turn off notifications, but you will not receive @mention notifications. See Configure personal notification settings.
If you are @mentioned multiple times in one piece of content, you will only receive one notification.
