Content owners are custodians of content and are granted access permissions to edit and maintain it. They are assigned a secondary role as a backup in case a content author cannot be reached and the content requires editing.

View the content owner
You can view which user is assigned as the content owner by viewing the content's side panel.
Create content
When content is created, the original content author is set as the content owner. You can change the content owner in the Content Settings side panel of the Content Creation pages. See the following articles for more information:
