Clear a site's landing page

You can clear a site's landing page to allow a new landing page to be designated. Landing pages serve as the site's entry point and often act as a central hub for its aggregated content.

Considerations

  • Site requirements: A site must have a landing page so users can navigate to the site via the Top Bar's menu. See Set a site's landing page for details on how to set a new landing page.

  • Workplace administrators 
  • Site administrators

Clear a site's landing page as a workplace administrator

As a workplace administrator, to clear a site's landing page from the Site Manager page in Admin Settings: 

  1. On the Top Bar, select Admin Settings.
  2. In the Site Manager, navigate into the site.
  3. Next to the landing page, select Menu, followed by Clear Landing Page. 
  4. When prompted, select Yes. 

Clear a site's landing page as a site administrator

As a site administrator or workplace administrator, to clear a site's landing page from within the site: 

  1. Navigate to the Site Manager page:
    • On the Top Bar, select Menu. Beside the site, select Manage this site.
    • Or, if you are already in the site, select Manage this site at the top of the page. 
  2. Next to the landing page, select Menu, followed by Clear Landing Page. 
  3. When prompted, select Yes.
