A site is a collection of pages and feeds in a digital workplace that are relevant to and sometimes only accessible by specific groups of users. Sites allow workplace administrators to create digital destinations for their organization's teams, departments, and offices. Additionally, when site administrators have access to the site, they may edit and manage some aspects of the site.

Use sites
You can navigate to sites by searching in the Top Bar or using the menu in the Top Bar. You can only access sites where you belong to a group with the appropriate access permissions and roles to view the site.
When you enter a site, you are automatically taken to its landing page, which acts as a central hub for interacting with its content. The breadcrumbs menu at the top of the page show you where you are in the digital workplace's site structure.
Configure sites
The Site Manager can be accessed via Admin Settings for workplace administrators, or via a site's Manage this Site button for site administrators. This is the central location to manage the creation, editing, management, and deletion of sites and landing pages, in addition to managing access permissions for groups to the site.
As a site administrator, you can select a site's Manage this Site button to:
When using the site's Manage this Site button, workplace administrators will automatically be rerouted to the Site Manager in Admin Settings.
As a workplace administrator, you can access the Site Manager in Admin Settings to:
- Add or edit a site
- Delete a site
- Move sites, pages, and feeds in the Site Manager
- Set a site's landing page
- Clear a site's landing page
- Assign or edit access permissions for a site
- Remove access permissions for a site
When creating or managing sites, keep in mind that:
- Landing pages: When a site is created, a landing page is automatically created within it. The site must have a landing page defined to allow users to navigate to it using the Top Bar's menu or search.
- Nesting: Sites can be nested up to 3 levels under the root directory (i.e., top location in the site structure, which may be named Home) in the Site Manager.
- Moving sites: When sites are moved, their URLs are updated, and a URL redirect can be created to reroute existing links from the old location to the new location.
