Sign in to the app

You can sign in with your username and password to access your digital workplace through the Igloo Flex Mobile app. Typically, you will use the same username and password you would use when signing in to the digital workplace using a browser. 

Considerations

  • Do you need to sign in whenever you open the app?: The app securely caches your authentication credentials when you first sign in to your digital workplace and will then reuse these credentials to maintain your session. However:
    • If you sign out of the app, you must re-enter your credentials the next time you view your digital workplace.
    • If you terminate the app and Remember my details or Remember my site was not selected when you authenticated, you will need to re-enter your credentials the next time you want to view your digital workplace.

Sign in to the app with Igloo authentication

Igloo Flex Mobile login with Igloo authentication.

To sign into the app with an account that uses Igloo authentication:

  1. Open the app.
  2. In Organization ID, enter the Organization ID provided to you via SMS text message or enter the URL of your digital workplace. For example, customercare.igloo.igloodigitalworkplace.com.
  3. (Optional) Tap Remember my details to save your digital workplace's URL.
  4. Tap I Agree to the Terms of Service. 
  5. Tap Next.
  6. (Optional) If you have biometrics turned on in your device and you have previously logged in and asked the app to remember your details, you can use biometrics to log in to the app instead of using a password. Tap Log in with FaceID/biometrics and skip steps 7 to 10. If prompted, allow the app access to your biometrics app.
  7. Enter your password. You can tap Show Password to reveal your password.
  8. (Optional) If you don't remember your password, tap Forgot password? to begin the password reset process in your device's browser window. 
  9. (Optional) Tap Remember my details to save your username and allow automatic re-authentication when re-opening the app after terminating it. 
  10. Tap Login.

Sign in to the app with SAML SSO authentication

To sign into the app with an account that uses SAML SSO authentication:

  1. Open the app.
  2. In Site URL, enter the URL of your digital workplace. For example, customercare.igloo.igloodigitalworkplace.com.
  3. (Optional) Tap Remember my details to save your digital workplace's URL.
  4. Tap I Agree to the Terms of Service. 
  5. Tap Next. You will be redirected to your Identity Provider's sign-in page.
  6. Enter your username and password on your identity provider's sign-in page. Your options (i.e, showing or resetting your password) will vary depending on your Identity Provider.
  7. Tap Sign In (or your Identity Provider's equivalent).
