Delete a file or folder in the app

You can delete a file or folder in the Igloo Flex Mobile app to help organize your organization's files stored in Igloo Flex's File Manager. The file or folder will no longer be available to be viewed by any users, and any files or sub-folders contained in the folder will be deleted with the folder. Once deleted, files and folders cannot be restored. 

Who can do this?

  • Workplace administrators
  • Users with file manager roles of owner or full for the current file or folder

Delete a file

  1. In the app's Top Bar, tap Profile Menu, and then Manage files. 
  2. Navigate the folder structure to find the location where the file is stored.
  3. Next to the file, tap Menu, followed by Delete.
  4. When prompted, tap Delete file.

Delete a folder

When deleting a folder, all files and sub-folders will be permanently deleted and cannot be restored. 

  1. In the app's Top Bar, tap Profile Menu, and then Manage files. 
  2. Navigate the folder structure to find the location where the folder is stored.
  3. Next to the folder, tap Menu, followed by Delete.
  4. When prompted, tap Delete folder.
