The File Manager in the Igloo Flex Mobile app allows you to upload digital files to an internal Igloo Flex storage system and arrange the files into folders to meet your organization's file management strategy. Access permissions to files and folders can be managed by file management roles for individual users or groups to specify which users can add new files and folders, access existing files and folders, and delete files and folders.
You can access the File Manager by:
- In the app's Top Bar, tap
Profile Menu, and then Manage files.

Use the File Manager
The File Manager is the central hub for accessing the files and folders in the digital workplace. The File Management page displays all the files and folders to which you have access permissions.
The File Manager's access permissions, file manager roles, are separated from workplace roles, with the exception of the workplace administrator, which has the equivalent of a full file manager role for the entire contents of the File Manager.
As a workplace administrator or a user with file manager roles of owner, full, or editor for the current file or folder, you can:
- Add or update files. See Add or update a file in the app.
- Add or update folders. See Add or edit a folder in the app.
- Move files or folders. See Move files and folders in the app.
- Delete files or folders. See Delete a file or folder in the app.
As a workplace administrator or a user with file manager roles of owner, full, for the current file or folder, you can:
- Assign access permissions. See Add or edit access permissions to a file or folder in the app.
