You can transfer primary ownership of a file or folder in Igloo Flex's File Manager to another user. This allows the new owner to be responsible for the content and its maintenance during its lifecycle.
Considerations
-
File or folder ownership:
- Transferring primary ownership of a file or folder to another user removes the current owner's permissions and may require adding access permissions for that user. See Add or edit access permissions to a file or folder in the app.
- Additional users may also act as secondary owners of the content. They can be managed through access permissions. See Add or edit access permissions to a file or folder in the app.
- Access changes: Access permissions changes update for affected users the next time they log in to the Igloo Flex Mobile app. Removing access permissions does not remove the file or folder from the digital workplace.
Who can do this?
- Workplace administrators
- Users with file manager roles of owner or full for the current file or folder
