Remove workplace default subscriptions

You can remove workplace default subscriptions to stop users from being subscribed to mandatory feeds in the digital workplace. 

Considerations

  • Following the feed personally: When a workplace default subscription to a feed is removed, users who were personally following the feed will still receive notifications from that feed.

  • Workplace administrators

Remove a workplace default subscription

  1. On the Top Bar, select Admin Settings.
  2. Under Administration in the left side panel, select Notification Settings.
  3. In the Feed Notifications section, locate the feed to be edited under the Choose default feed subscriptions table. 
  4. Beside the feed, select Menu and then Remove
  5. When prompted, select Remove. Users who were subscribed to the feed will no longer follow it. However, they would still see its notifications if they were personally following it.
