You can remove workplace default subscriptions to stop users from being subscribed to mandatory feeds in the digital workplace.
Considerations
- Following the feed personally: When a workplace default subscription to a feed is removed, users who were personally following the feed will still receive notifications from that feed.
Who can do this?
- Workplace administrators
Remove a workplace default subscription
- On the Top Bar, select
Admin Settings.
- Under Administration in the left side panel, select
Notification Settings.
- In the Feed Notifications section, locate the feed to be edited under the Choose default feed subscriptions table.
- Beside the feed, select
Menu and then Remove.
- When prompted, select Remove. Users who were subscribed to the feed will no longer follow it. However, they would still see its notifications if they were personally following it.
