Configure the User Directory's Org Chart

You can configure the User Directory's Org Chart tab to display your organization's Azure Organizational Chart via an integration

Considerations

  • Integration: You must configure the Azure Organization Chart integration connection before configuring the User Directory's Org Chart. See Configure an Azure Organizational Chart integration connection.
  • Logged in with Microsoft: Users must be logged in with the Microsoft account to view the User Directory's Org Chart.

Who can do this?

  • Workplace administrators

Configure the User Directory's Org Chart

  1. On the Top Bar, select User Directory
  2. Select Org Chart.
  3. Select Settings
  4. When prompted, enter the following:
    • Azure Org Chart Connection: Select the Azure Organization Chart integration connection to use. If you have not yet set up an integration connection, see Configure an Azure Organizational Chart integration connection
    • Default User ID: Enter an Azure user's ID or userPrincipalName to use as the chart's initial loading point. (Your IT team's Entra administrator can find these values.) Or leave the field blank to load from the end-user's position in the chart.
    • Hide Disabled Accounts: Toggle this setting to prevent disabled users from being displayed in the chart.
  5. Select Update. The chart is now configured and ready to be used once a user has been authorized through Microsoft.

To see the chart on the Org Chart tab, all users must select Authorize through Microsoft and log in with their Microsoft account when prompted.
