Configure the Profile page

You can configure how the Profile page displays user profiles, including the profile field categories and users' profile fields

Considerations

  • Removing profile field categories: You cannot remove a category once it has been added. However, you can change its name or remove all the profile fields from the category. Categories without profile fields will not be displayed on the Profile page. 
  • Profile fields: To add or edit profile fields displayed on the Profile page, see Add or edit profile fields.

Who can do this?

  • Workplace administrators

Add profile field categories

  1. On the Top Bar, select Admin Settings.
  2. Under Administrator in the left side panel, select Profile Field Configuration
  3. Select Create New and then Field Category
  4. Enter a category name with a maximum of 50 text characters. 
  5. Select Create

Rename profile field categories

Keep in mind that the Intro profile field category cannot be renamed. 

  1. On the Top Bar, select Admin Settings.
  2. Under Administrator in the left side panel, select Profile Field Configuration
  3. Next to the category to be renamed, select Menu and then Rename Category
  4. Enter a new category name with a maximum of 50 text characters. 
  5. Select Update

Move profile field categories

You can move the placement of the profile field categories on the Profile page, except for into and from the Intro profile field. However, any category that doesn't contain profile fields will not be displayed. 

  1. On the Top Bar, select Admin Settings.
  2. Under Administrator in the left side panel, select Profile Field Configuration.
  3. Beside the category to be moved, select Menu and then Move Category
  4. In the window, use the handlebars to re-arrange the order categories are displayed. The display order for desktop and mobile devices is shown at the top of the window. 
  5. Select Update
