When accessing the Igloo Flex digital workplace, users may encounter issues with their configured access permissions. Use the FAQ to help guide you to different solutions when users encounter an error.
Who can do this?
- Workplace administrators
- Site administrators
When logging in to the digital workplace, the user sees an error message stating, "Access denied. Sorry, you do not have permission to access this Page."
As a workplace administrator, you can add the user to a group with an assigned access permissions role for the root directory (i.e., top location in the site structure, which may be named Home) in the Site Manager. See Add users to a group or Assign or edit access permissions for a site.
When opening a link to a specific site or page, the user sees an error message stating, "Access denied. Sorry, you do not have permission to access this Page."
As a workplace administrator or site administrator, verify that the user is in a group with an assigned access permissions role for the site containing the site or page in the link. You may need to add them to a group or update the access permissions for a group. See Add users to a group or Assign or edit access permissions for a site.
When viewing a page with a Files and Folders widget, the user cannot see files and folders that other users can see in the widget.
As a workplace administrator or a user with owner/full access permissions to the files and folders, verify that the user has been assigned access permissions for the files and folders. You may need to add them to a group with access or update the access permissions for the user or group. See Assign or edit access permissions for a file or folder, or Add users to a group.
