Hide or show sites in the Top Bar menu

You can show or hide sites in your digital workplace's Top Bar menu to provide users with a clear path to the locations that most matter to them.

Considerations

  • Hiding sites: Any subsites nested in a hidden site will not be visible on the Top Bar menu. 
  • Site Order in Top Bar menu: To adjust the display order of sites in the Top Bar menu, see Arrange sites in the Top Bar menu

  • Workplace administrators

Hide sites in the Top Bar menu

  1. On the Top Bar, select Admin Settings.
  2. Under Settings in the left side panel, select Menu Settings. 
  3. (Optional) To expand or collapse nested sites or subsites, select Expand or Collapse to the left of the site or subsite. 
  4. Beside any site or subsite, select Menu, followed by Hide Item. Any subsites nested under a hidden site will not show in the menu.
  5. At the top of the page, select Save changes.

Show sites in the Top Bar menu

  1. On the Top Bar, select Admin Settings.
  2. Under Settings in the left side panel, select Menu Settings. 
  3. (Optional) To expand or collapse nested sites or subsites, select Expand or Collapse to the left of the site or subsite. 
  4. Beside any site or subsite with the text "Hidden from menu," select Menu, followed by Show item. 
  5. At the top of the page, select Save changes.
