Delete a content version

You can permanently delete a content version from an article or wiki to ensure compliance with data retention policies or remove Personally Identifiable Information (PII).

Considerations

  • Deleted content versions: Once deleted, content versions cannot be restored to the digital workplace. 

Who can do this?

  • Workplace administrators

Delete a content version 

  1. Navigate to the article or wiki feed, and open the article or wiki. Or, use the Top Bar's search box to search for the article or wiki.
  2. In the article or wiki, select Menu and then Version History.
  3. (Optional) To review a content version before deletion, select Menu next to the version and then View.
  4. Next to the version to be deleted, select  Menu, and then Delete Version.
  5. When prompted, select Yes.
