You can remove access permissions for a site to remove a group of users' access to the site, the site's pages, and content in the site's feeds. Removing site permissions does not remove the site or its content from the digital workplace.
Considerations
- Site visibility: If all group permissions are removed for a site, its contents will not be visible to creators and readers. However, workplace administrators can still navigate to the site via the Site Manager page.
- Root directory access: To access pages and content in the digital workplace, a user must be in a group with an assigned role for the root directory (i.e., top location in the site structure, which may be named Home) in the Site Manager.
- Groups: Users may belong to multiple groups with different roles and associated site access permissions. If a user is in multiple groups with access to the site, they may still have access to the site if only one group is removed.
