You can add or edit an existing folder to help organize your organization's files in the Igloo Flex-based File Manager.
Considerations
- Access permissions: A folder may have defined users and groups with access permissions to the folder or inherit the defined access permissions from the folder containing it. See Add or edit access permissions to a file or folder.
- File and folder visibility: Files and folders will only be available to view or update if the user has appropriate access permissions for the file or folder.
Who can do this?
- Workplace administrators
- Users with file manager roles of owner, full, or editor for the current file or folder
Add a folder

- Inheritance from parent folder: Toggle this to off if you do not want the folder's access permissions to be inherited from the folder containing it. This option is not available for folders in the file manager's root directory.

- (Optional) To change the folder's access permissions, see Add or edit access permissions to a file or folder.
