Unarchive a content version

As part of content versioning, you can unarchive a content version of an article or wiki to use it as a restore version.

Considerations

  • Archived versions: A content version must have the Archived status to be available to unarchive.

Who can do this?

  • Workplace administrators
  • Site administrators
  • Creators

Unarchive a content version

  1. Navigate to the article or wiki feed and open the article or wiki. Or, use the Top Bar's search box to search for the article or wiki.
  2. In the article or wiki, select Menu and then Version History.
  3. (Optional) To compare two versions, select the checkboxes next to them and select Compare Versions. For more details on comparing versions, see the Compare versions of content section of Restore to a previous version of content.
  4. Next to the version you want to unarchive, select Menu, and then Unarchive. The content version will now be unarchived and ready to be used as a restore version.
