Use broadcasts
Notifications of publication are sent to you when you follow feeds where the content is published. In contrast, broadcasts send notifications to you when you have at least reader access to selected feed(s) or group(s) when the content is published.
When receiving broadcasts, if you belong to multiple selected feeds or groups with at least reader access to the content, you will only receive one broadcast. If you also follow the feed, you will not receive a regular notification in addition to the broadcast.
You can modify your personal settings on the Notification Settings page to adjust whether you receive direct notifications (i.e., broadcasts) by email, in-app, push notification, or not at all. See Configure personal notification settings.
Configure broadcasts
As a workplace administrator, site administrator, or creator, you can broadcast new and published content. You can also broadcast content on another user's behalf if you have access permissions to the feed. For instructions on broadcasting content, see Broadcast content.
As a workplace administrator, you can configure the default notifications settings for broadcasts in the Notification Settings page in Admin Settings. Users can individually override these settings in their personal Notification Settings page. See Configure workplace notification settings or Configure personal notification settings.
