Broadcast content

You can broadcast to notify users of essential articles, events, and wikis in the digital workplace. Broadcasts are instant notifications that can be sent as email, in-app, and mobile push notifications (if turned on) to users with at least reader access to the content for the selected feeds or groups.

Considerations

  • Who receives broadcasts: Users with at least reader access for the selected feeds or selected groups will receive a broadcast if they have direct notifications turned on. See Configure workplace notification settings or Configure personal notification settings.
  • Multiple groups or feeds: If a user is a member of multiple groups or feeds with at least reader access, they will receive only one broadcast.
  • Broadcasting other users' content: Workplace administrators, administrators, or creators with feed access via an assigned site can broadcast another user's content on their behalf.

Who can do this?

  • Workplace administrators
  • Site administrators
  • Creators
