You can remove a user from a static group from the digital workplace to help organize users and their access to content and sites. Users can be re-added to the group at any time.
Considerations
- Access permissions: When a user is removed from a group, all associated site access permissions are also removed. However, users may still access those sites if they have access permissions from other groups.
- Dynamic groups: This process cannot remove users from dynamic groups, but features like Bulk User Upload or SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management) can.
Who can do this?
- Workplace administrators
Remove users from a group
- On the Top Bar, select
Admin Settings.
- Under Administration in the left side panel, select
Groups.
- Next to the group, select
Menu, and then View Details.
- Select the Users tab.
- Use the search box to locate specific users in the digital workplace by first or last name, or scroll through the list to locate users. Select the checkbox beside each user.
- Select Remove users.
- When prompted, select Yes.
