Survey Manager in the app

The Survey Manager allows content creators to create, edit, manage, and share surveys within the digital workplace in the Igloo Flex Mobile app to support user engagement with content and ensure everyone has a voice within their organization. The collected data can be analyzed and visualized in detailed reports, which can be shared selectively to guide informed decisions and foster a collaborative environment.

You can access the Survey Manager by: 

  1. In the app's Top Bar, tap Profile Menu, and then Survey Manager.

Details

The Survey Manager is the central hub for using surveys in the digital workplace. Workplace administrators, site administrators, and creators can access it via the app's Top Bar's Profile Menu. The page is organized into three tabbed sections:

  • My Surveys: This section contains your surveys. You can add, edit, share, and delete them and view their responses and analytics.
  • Shared with Me: This section contains the surveys shared with you. You can add, edit, share, and delete them and view their responses and analytics.
  • Templates: This section contains your survey templates and those shared with you. You can create new surveys from these templates and add, edit, share, and delete survey templates. 

Surveys

A survey is a structured tool for gathering feedback, opinions, or information from users within an organization. As a survey creator or editor, you can follow the survey's lifecycle through survey creation, sharing the survey in the digital workplace, and analyzing the analytics of a completed survey. 

To get started with creating surveys, see Add or edit a survey in the app. Keep in mind that: 

  • Active surveys: Once a survey is active (i.e., published), you can no longer edit the survey's details. However, you may extend the time duration of the survey. A survey's duration cannot exceed 20 days.
  • Access: You can assign other users access permissions to edit a survey or survey template or view survey results.
  • Deleting a survey: You can delete your own surveys and surveys where you are assigned a Full role; see Delete a survey in the app. For other surveys, contact the original survey creator. 

Once a survey is ready and activated, you can share it by using a direct link to the survey via email, chat message, etc., or in the text of a social post. Alternatively, embed the survey directly in articles. The user must be logged in to view the survey. For instructions, see Share a survey in the app.

Survey templates

Survey templates are a templated survey version intended to speed up survey creation for frequently reused survey types. You can create survey templates from existing surveys that you have access to edit or from a fresh start.
