Follow a feed

You can follow a feed to receive notifications when new content is added. 

Considerations

• Feed page: Feeds can only be followed from the feed's page. 
• Workplace default subscriptions: You cannot follow or unfollow a feed for which a workplace administrator has set up a mandatory workplace default subscription. The Following button for these feeds will have a "Workplace default subscription" label below the button, or the Personal Dashboard's My Feeds table will display the label. 
• Unfollow a feed: To unfollow a feed, see Unfollow a feed.

Follow a feed

1. Navigate to the feed:
   • From a widget: Select the feed chip associated with the content. 
   • From an article, event, social post, or wiki: In the Details side panel below Published to, select the feed's name.
2. In the feed, select + Follow. If the button already displays Following and a "Workplace default subscription" label below the button, then you have a mandatory workplace default subscription to the feed that automatically subscribes you to the feed. You cannot unfollow that feed. 

View a followed feed from the Personal Dashboard

1. On the Top Bar, select Profile Menu.
2. Select Personal Dashboard, then My Feeds.
3. Next to the feed, select Menu, followed by View feed.
