As part of Event Management, you can delete an event from its calendar and the digital workplace. The event will no longer be available for users to view. The event will be sent to the digital workplace's Trash Bin, where it will remain until permanently deleted or restored to the digital workplace. The following associated items are deleted with the event, where applicable:
Considerations
- Trash Bin: Once an event has been deleted, it is stored in the Trash Bin, where it can be restored or permanently deleted by workplace administrators. See Restore deleted items from the Trash Bin or Permanently delete items from the Trash Bin.

Delete an event
To delete an event from the event itself:
- Choose one of the following options to navigate to the event:
- Navigate to the calendar feed and select the event.
- Use the Top Bar's search box to search for the event and select the event.
- On the Top Bar, select
Notifications to select an event invitation notification.
- In the event, select
Menu, and then Delete Event.
- When prompted, select Yes, Delete Event.
To delete an event from your Personal Calendar:
- On the Top Bar, select
Calendar.
- Locate the event and select it.
- In the event window, select
Menu, and then Delete Event.
- When prompted, select Yes, Delete Event.
To delete an event from your Personal Dashboard:
- On the Top Bar, select
Profile Menu.
- Select Personal Dashboard and then My Events.
- Locate the event in the list. If the event is in the past, you must select the Upcoming Events dropdown and Past Events before locating the event.
- In the event window, select
Menu, and then Delete Event.
- When prompted, select Yes, Delete Event.
